March Class Schedule

Tier One Classes:

Shallow Aqua

The shallow aqua classes will take place in the lap pool. If you have trouble with your joints or are just not ready for the land aerobic classes, then this would be a perfect class to start in! You will still be sweating by the end of class. Tone and sculpt your body with no impact to your joints. This popular water aerobics workout is a swimming blend of cardio and resistance training, and may incorporate resistance tools such as buoyant water weights and noodles.

Benefits: Water supports the body, putting less stress on your joints and muscles. Water pressure helps the heart move blood around the body, putting less strain on it. The impact of gravity is less in the water allowing a greater range of motion. Working out in water can also prevent overheating, helping you exercise for longer.

Deep Aqua

These classes are performed in the dive tank! A float belt is worn at all times during this class. Let us take you to the deepest parts of water fitness training! This challenging class incorporates high-intensity, non-impact strength and cardiovascular movements that provide one of the best forms of exercise. *Must be comfortable in deep water.

Benefits: Water is denser than air so you work harder and burn more calories. The pressure of the water helps your heart out so you get the same intensity of exercise at a lower heart rate. Water is 800 times denser than air so you will get a better work out with a smaller risk of injury than if you were exercising on land.

Gentle Aqua Class

Our Gentle Aqua class is designed for anyone with mobility issues. We focus on building strength, flexibility, balance, cardiovascular fitness, and fun. All exercises are conducted in the shallow end of the pool. Like any good exercise routine, the program has a series of warm-up exercises to begin with and cool-down movements at the end.

Benefits: Decreased effects of gravity in the water lessens the impact on your joints. Preserving and restoring range of motion and flexibility around each affected joint.

Aqua Barre

Aqua Barre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. Aqua Barre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre. But now we are taking this great class into the water!!

Aqua Physical

We are proud to say that we are one of the first gyms to have Aqua Physical in the states! The aquabase is an inflatable board that you will exercise on during the duration of the class. During the class, you will be doing many exercises and moves that you would on land. But, they will be amplified! You cannot take balance for granted. Try this new and fun class today! This will be a fitness class like you have never experienced before!

Benefits: Double the workout, because land exercises are being performed on the water. A whole body workout will be achieved.

Aquaphysical: Yoga

The beneficial challenges of Aquaphysical, now in a pure yoga format! Students of all levels are invited to join these Vinyasa style classes. Vinyasa is a dynamic yoga practice that promotes focus by connecting movement with breath. Clear instruction is given in breathing technique, warm-up and flow with options to modify to your preferred level of difficulty. New students will develop body awareness, alignment and core strength through a progression of flowing basic poses, while experienced students are encouraged to explore advanced variations in familiar postures.
