Riptides Swimming 2024-2025!
Registration is now OPEN for the 2024-2025 season! After last season's successful implementation of skill improvements and schedule overhaul, the Riptides look to build on that with enhanced speed and endurance sessions! We have also bolstered our staff with new coaches as we continue to build towards the future of Riptides. If you missed our Signing Day event on August 29th, please review the Team Presentation and Parent Board Presentation for all of this season's information!
We have an amazing Parent Board in place that adds support for our coaches, swimmers, and their families. Our coaches look to continue the goal-setting initiatives from last season that saw a number of Riptides meet or surpass their own expectations. We pride ourselves on being more than a swim team and look to recruit individuals with diverse interests. And of course, we want LOTS of personality! Whether you are an experienced swimmer or new to the sport, there is a place for everyone with Riptides.
Although the year-round season runs from September 1-August 31, we add new swimmers throughout the season. So even if you're not ready now, that doesn't mean you won't be ready soon. In addition, check out some of the benefits of joining Riptides:
- No Application Fee for Returning Swimmers: Due to upgrades in our team management software, this season there will be no application fee for returning Riptides swimmers.
- Commitment Levels: Did you know you can be on a swim team and participate in other extracurricular activities? With Riptides, you choose how many days each week you want to practice, plus that level can change during the course of the season!
- Flexible Schedule: We recognize your family schedule changes week-to-week, but so can your swim schedule! Most of our groups have 6 practice times offered per week, so you can modify your practice days each week if needed.
- Account Pause: Prepping for a theater production or leaving town for a few weeks? You can place your swim account on pause when time is short (one-month minimum).
PLEASE NOTE: Returning swimmers from the 2023-2024 season do not need to be evaluated. These swimmers may sign up for their previous practice group.
